No Dental Insurance?
It's still important to visit the Dentist
Most Americans without a dental health care plan believe that since they do not have insurance, they therefore do not need to go to the dentist, to receive a semi-annual checkup or take care of other oral health problems that may arise in the future. This is a HUGE mistake! Your oral health is just as important to your body as your overall health is. Taking care of your oral health should be one of your top priorities, and here at Yurovsky Dentalwe are willing to help you out even if you do not possess dental insurance, because we understand how crucial dental health is for one’s overall well-being.
There are many symptoms of poor oral health you may experience that you should most certainly not overlook. For example, let’s say you are experiencing a sharp pain in one of your teeth whenever you go to eat something. It may almost feel as though a nerve is being pinched whenever you bite down. This is a good indication that you may require a Root Canal procedure to get your health oral health back in order. Or maybe you are experiencing tender and bleeding gums. You may think this is no big deal, but in reality, it could be a sign of periodontitis. This means you need to get to the dental office as soon as possible so that the dentist can perform a deep cleaning around the teeth and below the gum lines to stop the disease from spreading further. The dentist may also prescribe medication to combat the infection.
When picking a dentist, it is important to find one that can provide all different kinds of services to address whatever oral health problems you may be facing, rather than only being able to perform a few different types of procedures. Here at Yurovsky Dental, we take care of everything from crowns to bridges to extractions to TMJ & TMD Treatment, and for those without insurance, we offer a supplemental dental plan within our practice.
Our location is also very convenient, as we are situated in Center City Philadelphia, on JFK Boulevard, only few blocks from the Rittenhouse Square, with easy access from trains, buses, and other types of public transportation.
